Shattered on Saturday
10.30-12.30 in Greetham Church, every Saturday during British Summer Time. Refreshments, music, newspapers, fellowship...
Beer & Bible
Our Men's group, normally on the last Wednesday (changed from Thursday) of the month, and normally at 2 Lilac Way, Cottesmore. Around 7.30-9.30pm
All men are welcome to join us at any time. Beer drinking is not a prerequisite - we have a couple of tea drinkers already! We usually start with a prayer then discuss the readings we have been looking at during the week. Sometimes we might watch a DVD based plan. After some great discussions we normally finish no later than 9.30pm.
Occasionally we have a social meeting in one of the local pubs and we have also organised some breakfasts in the past, sometimes to coincide with a rugby match on the TV - and we have put on free bacon butties at the Cottesmore Sports and Social Club, for the British Lions tour, which worked really well.
